I finally got these lures put together in a display case. These two Paul Bunyan Bait Compny spoons were only offered in the 1940 and 1941 catalogs. They were both offered in the same four colors - red, black, green, and yellow (bakelite inserts). The yellow ones always seem to fade to a cream white color. These early Paul Bunyan spoons are pretty hard to find. It took me about 30 years to put this collection together. Several of these came from Dan Pavarnik’s collection a few years back. Dan had the largest Paul Bunyan collection that I’ve ever seen! It was an honor to add some of his stuff to my collection. Enjoy!
