These three examples were tied in the mid-late 1980's and come in the original zip lock envelopes. Each envelope contains the original signed card with the information about the original pattern and materials.
I got these from an old friend over 25 years and he got them directly from the tyer. The three patterned flies are a Dunkeld on a 5/0 hook, a Gordon on a 4/0 hook and a Torrish on a 4/0 hook. All in perfect condition.
Included are an original glossy paper 20 pg. catalog, copyright 1986 and a price list from 1988.
Not sure how long Maxwell MacPherson tied salmon flies, or if he's still tying or not. I have not heard anything about him in years. Would make a great framed display.
