In the late 1990s, I purchased a collection of 30s/40s/50s fly/spinning/bait casting reels and reel boxes (most are used...a few are unused) from a Williston, FL, resident (my 105-year-old mother still lives there)...many come with their original boxes...many come with their original boxes and paperwork...many are empty reel boxes...many are empty reel boxes with paperwork. I've stored the entire collection in two U-Haul cardboard boxes ever since but just opened them up. Since my wife wants to go on a vacation, "It's time to sell!"
Unfortunately, I know NOTHING concerning valuing any of them including this Mitchell 300 Spinning Reel...looks new/unfished with its original box, with its new original extra spool in its original plastic case, and with all its original unused paperwork (no zip code on any of the paperwork...says made in France). Date? Value?
If some reel-knowledgeable collector is willing to help me value them so I can put them individually on Joe's Board for those who collect reels, I believe they would be grateful and blessed...I know I would be.
