Up for your consideration is one of last three Shur-Strike printer's block I presently own...a RARE SHUR-STRIKE SD 41 printer's block (SD stands for Small Dude...41 stands for the Blue Black coloration...see picture #2). The earliest usage of this printer's block I found in my research was in Shur-Strike's small, b&w, two-sided mini sheet (see picture #3) titled NEW SHUR-STRIKES for 1941 (the reverse features the FF or Fast Fish).
