I am in the process of redoing my Lowes display and I came up with a question maybe someone can help me with. In the 1917 Wm Croft & Sons, Canada these is a page about fluted baits stamped Lowes and Original. I am assuming that Enterprise started stamping them to convince the fisherman that these are the same quality as Lowe manufactured prior to the company being sold to Enterprise. In the 1916 Enterprise catalog cut sheets in Alan Carters book they do not show any stamped ORIGINAL. There are pictures but not part of the catalog.

So my two questions are (1) does anyone have any knowledge that the term ORIGINAL was ever used prior to 1916 and (2) has anyone seen any other Lowes baits stamped ORIGINAL?

Thanks
