Seems like just about every time a suspected "prototype" lure pops up, Creek Chub is given credit. Same thing with "Special Order Colors". They seem particularly common with Creek Chub lures. You don't see a Heddon or Shakespeare or Pflueger lure being called a prototype or Special Order too often. They're just called a "variation". That doesn't seem to carry as much weight as "prototype" or "Special Order". A Pikie with a third eye on top the forehead would be jumped at as a Prototype, but a Pflueger with the same thing would just be ho-hummed as a "variation".
Just a thought. Any comments? Best---- Joe Walkowski (WNYTC ORCA) GB
