I have this complete early Tackle box and contents as found intact here in Pittsburgh. It came out of the Micheal Benedum Estate sale where they lived in Greensburgh Pa. Area.
I have researched the Name DL Gillespie and could not come up with a connection. My guess is that they were high end business or family friends and this may have been a gift from Benedum to Gillespie and possibly never taken out and used. Lots of equipment Metal Lures etc. that look new with some coming out of the early WS Brown Sporting Goods store that was located in Downtown Pgh.
Anyway I am interested in selling it complete. I have it priced at 1100$ shipped USA. If you’re interested let me know. A lot of Pics to look at.
